As the years go by and you are aging, you will create habits . You will form them whether good or bad and you must realize what can trigger the habit to form .
Habits are formed by certain things that you become familiar with by focusing on what brings us a release or maybe when you notice how it makes you feel.
Tiny changes are made through repetition of an act or even a mental thought. It’s important to build good habits and work towards breaking the bad habit. When you want to create a new healthy habit it is vital that you decide what you can use to prompt the habit to begin.
I recently wanted to increase my journal time as well as reading powerful books on strengthening my subconscious mind.
In the morning after I make my bed , I put my journal along with my Bible and a book of my choice on my bed. This alerts me after work I become familiar with seeing the books and I have in mind that I will read something and jot my thoughts down in my journal.
Many other things are possible to break a bad habit and you can start by intentionally looking at how that habit might have begun.Once you are able to identify that you will be able to make tiny changes to correct it. Sometimes you will be able to see it but unlearning that behavior is what might be challenging.
I am learning to unlearn a bad habit instead of thinking of the horrible things that happened to me in my day I use gratitude for all the good things that I have. Sometimes it’s not easy so I just focus on what did not go wrong. I believe that gratitude will bring you to the other side of a disaster.
Meditation and prayer is great way to prompt a bad habit into creating a new positive one. Begin with a tiny change and watch how it will grow into a big great change that will bring you peace and the good desire that you are looking for.
Remember, that change is not always easy ,but learning how to prompt a new cue or pattern is the ticket to creating a good habit.
